A German Shepherd or a Malinois with nothing to do will find something to do, and it is seldom what you had in mind. At 95 cm the ball is too big to grab and too big to ignore. The dog has to lean into it with its whole body to move it anywhere, which is far more work than it looks from the outside.
CollieBall is the original herding ball, designed in San Francisco and first built in 2021. Two layers. An inflatable inner ball with a needle valve gives the shape, and a ballistic fabric cover goes over it to take the teeth and the claws. At this size the cover carries most of the load, which is why it is the toughest fabric we could get our hands on.

Replaceable inner ball
The cover and the inner ball come apart, so a damaged inner ball does not mean starting over with a whole new ball. The 95 cm inner ball isn't listed in the shop. Write to us and we'll send one.
Is 95 cm the right size?
95 cm is the largest size, for dogs of 63 cm and up at the shoulder: German Shepherd, Belgian Malinois, Rottweiler, Dobermann and similar builds. Measure from the ground to the top of the shoulder blade, not to the head. Between two sizes, take the bigger one, or use the size guide.

The needle valve holds air longer than a standard push valve. At 95 cm, plan on a compressor. Filling this size by hand is not realistic.
