Small dogs are not gentle with a ball. A Corgi throws its whole body at it and a Jack Russell goes hunting for a seam to work on. The 45 cm CollieBall is made for dogs that go at it hard: an extremely tough ballistic fabric shell on the outside, air on the inside.
We have been building the original herding ball since 2021, designed in San Francisco. Two parts, two jobs. An inflatable inner ball with a needle valve holds the shape, and the ballistic cover takes the teeth and the claws.

Replaceable inner ball
The cover and the inner ball are separate parts, so whichever one wears out first can be swapped while you keep the rest. We sell the 45 cm inner ball on its own.
Is 45 cm the right size?
45 cm suits dogs up to 37 cm at the shoulder: Corgi, French Bulldog, Jack Russell and similar builds. Measure from the ground to the top of the shoulder blade, not to the head. If your dog lands between two sizes, take the bigger one, or use the size guide.
Build

The needle valve holds air longer than a standard push valve and takes longer to fill. At 45 cm a hand pump with a needle adapter will do, though a compressor is quicker.
